  Negative Review: Work experience at L’écho du Malpas As a former animation employee at the L'écho du Malpas campsite, I feel the responsibility to share my experience in order to help future workers make informed decisions. My time with this company was marked by several problems that deserve to be highlighted. 1. Unfair treatment of employees: During my stay, I observed unfair treatment among employees, especially regarding meals. The owners instructed to serve lower quality meals to the workers, while their own daughters, staff members, enjoyed far more substantial and appetizing meals. Additionally, they refused to provide us with meals on Sunday evening, even though it was stipulated in our contract. This disparity in treatment has created a feeling of disadvantage and bias. 2. Denigration linked to physical appearance: I was the victim of derogatory comments about my physical appearance, which created an unprofessional work environment and affected me deeply. 3. Lack of transparency: There was a lack of transparency regarding the need for replacements in my first week on the job, information that should have been communicated more openly and honestly. 4. Unprofessional atmosphere: The unsubstantiated allegations and negative comments made in front of customers have contributed to creating an unprofessional atmosphere that is not conducive to employee productivity or well-being. 5. Inadequate resource management: Resource management, particularly with regard to the supplies needed for our activities, left much to be desired. This had an impact on the quality of our work. 6. Abrupt change in working hours: Work schedules were sometimes changed at the last minute to favor full-time family members, without taking into account already established schedules, which created unnecessary conflicts. 7. Financial pressure: Although we were criticized for our expenses, the company failed to provide adequate and quality equipment needed to carry out our activities. 8. Lack of honesty: Gossip and lack of honesty, both from bosses and family employees, were commonplace. Talking behind our backs undermined trust within the team. 9. I would also like to point out that security was insufficient, particularly for us employees, since despite having questioned the owners several times, we saw people trying to open our accommodation many times. Also, the attacks that have taken place against our colleagues and their positions have only weakened our feeling of security. I share these concerns in hopes that future employees can make informed decisions. Working at L’écho du Malpas can be a difficult experience due to these issues. I recommend potential candidates to carefully consider these aspects before engaging with this company. Thanks for reading me

  The proximity to the Dordogne is great, especially if you manage to get a location along it, waking up with such a view is priceless! The only downside is the toilets are a little far away. Quiet campsite with good activities offered inside and outside, with very attractive prices! The town of Argentat is really close by on top of that.
