Le Puy du Tour is an ancient archaeological site where excavations have been carried out to understand the occupation of this ancient Gallic oppidum. Park in the small car park after a long 5km winding road (difficult to pass vehicles, be careful) and admire one of the most beautiful panoramas in the region. On one side Argentat (when it's cleared ...) on the other Monceaux-sur-Dordogne and you will see a springboard which is used for the take-off of paragliders and other flying machines.
