As its name suggests, Saint-Bonnet-les-Tours-de-Merle is close to the magnificent historical and natural site of the Tours de Merle. It is a very small village and even one of the smallest communes in France, typical of the Xaintrie.

Built between the 12th and 15th centuries, these towers bear witness to remarkable military architecture and a past rich in events.
