Meyssac is a town of character which seduces with its rich heritage and its pleasant living environment in Corrèze.
A bit of history
The history of Meyssac is closely linked to the Viscounty of Turenne. A stronghold since the 12th century, it has preserved vestiges of its fortified past. The Meyssac geological fault is also a significant element of the region's natural heritage.
A journey through time
Meyssac is a bit like taking a leap into the past. Its old districts, built in red sandstone, are home to architectural treasures, which remind us a lot of its neighbor, Collonges-la-Rouge.
- The fortified church, with its Romanesque porch, is a must-see.
- The 16th century half-timbered houses and the 17th century grain market add to the charm of this Corrèze village.
A place where life is good
