We do not know the exact date of construction of the Saillant bridge , but it dates back to before the 14th century! It spans the Vézère and is a popular place in summer, and all year round, for lovers of swimming and relaxation near a beautiful natural area. It is classified as a historical monument and the banks are grassed with games for children.
Visit the small village of Saillant , you can also canoe/kayak, a base is nearby.
Climbing and hiking enthusiasts can try the Saillant Via Ferrata which is only a few minutes away.
