Image of fairy tales in Collonges-la-Rouge

If Collonges-la-Rouge is called the "city of 25 towers", it is for its magnificent medieval heritage. Nestled in a green valley, its black slate roofs, overhanging the red sandstone buildings, seem to emerge from the forest cover. You will also take magnificent photos, by posting yourself on one of the small surrounding mountains. Once in the village, a shot awaits you at every corner. It is a paradise for amateur photographers. If you are looking for something unusual, be sure to sit on the "Devil's Throne" and immortalize this moment!

Romantic photo in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne

Feet in the water, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne is a very bucolic site. Along the banks of the Dordogne, you will take romantic walks, hand in hand, under the weeping willows. This medieval town is criss-crossed by charming alleys. When you arrive in the village, do not miss the most emblematic photo of the place: its Abbey Church with double doors!

Feeling of vertigo on the Rochers Noirs Viaduct

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Viaduc des Rochers Noirs was built to connect Tulle to Ussel, spanning the Gorges de la Luzège. This beautiful building culminates at 92 meters in height and you will take dizzying photos there. To photograph it as a whole, go to the Jardin de Firmin. From its belvedere, you have a breathtaking view of the valley and the viaduct.

Unusual perspective on the slate sections of Travassac

The Pans de Travassac are old quarries. They bear witness to the economic history of the region. The production of slates made it possible to cover the roofs of surrounding towns, such as Collonges-la-Rouge, with tiles. Today, you will be impressed by these high slate cliffs, perfectly cut by the quarrymen. A bridge crosses and runs along the facades to make your visit easier. Surrounded by these stone walls, the feeling is very special and it is an extraordinary tourist site. But will you be able to translate it into an image…?

Majestic staging in Ségur-le-Château

Nestled in a loop of the Auvézère, cool and wild, Ségur-le-Château is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Between its half-timbered houses, its corbels, the water that meanders and reveals pictures like paintings, you will find many opportunities to take out your camera. Ségur-le-Château is a very attractive and lively village in the summer season, with a beautiful local producers' market.

Frosted shot on the “Pearl of Limousin

Uzerche is called the “Pearl of Limousin for the beauty of its heritage. This medieval city is perched on a rocky outcrop, dominating the banks of the Vézère. If you have the opportunity to photograph it in winter, you will regularly surprise it under the snow, which gives an old-fashioned character to this small town of character. You will take photos in the pure style of the postcard of yesteryear.

Curemonte, a journey through time

Curemonte is a small village, in size and number of inhabitants. However, it is a major tourist site. It dominates the Vallée de la Sourdoire on one side and that of Maumont on the other. To occupy this strategic position, the lords fitted it out with three castles and a beautiful Romanesque church. Its economic importance has not necessarily diminished over the centuries and moreover, a market hall was built there in the 19th century. Today, its medieval heritage has earned it the status of one of the "most beautiful villages in France" and it has great prospects for the future, in terms of tourism.

An angelic photo at Aubazine

Aubazine is famous for the work of the Cistercian monks of the 12th century. You will see a magnificent Cistercian Abbey, a monastery and especially the Canal des Moines. It is a very innovative construction for the time, which made it possible to carry water from the Coyrou to the monastic buildings. The narrow streets and buildings from the Middle Ages are very well preserved and maintained. The village is perched and offers views of the valley below. It is also a starting point for hiking on the Ways of Santiago de Compostela.

A Corrèze “Game of Thrones

The old feudal Castrum of Tours de Merles immerses you in an unusual universe. Perched on a rocky outcrop, in the Gorges de la Maronne, it dominates a thick forest on the lands of Xaintrie. If the site is in ruins, we can still guess its 7 towers, which testify to this warlike and glorious past... Unusual photos await you!
